Interesting as the first five books of the bible were written after the Israelites came out of Egypt and the Egyptians and Hebrews had medicines while the Hebrews were still in captivity - so yes it predated modern technology but not Medicine - and in 1,000 years the stuff we have today will pre-date modern technology.
