Well I don't think he was a real threat. I mean he WAS in the Air Force. What was he going do, but sit in a chair and tell over paid contractors what to do? I had to get the dig in there somewhere.

Did I read this correctly? He had been on "the radar" of authorities for 15 years and still almost made it to Syria to join his "buddies"? Maybe we don't need "radar" but rather some competent authorities.
