COL Mikel J. Burroughs I think of myself as a thoughtful voter who gets angry periodically. I have to admit I have been angrier over the past 6 years or so at political activity and inactivity than I was in the past few decades.

LTC Stephen F. I ran out of 'Up Votes" but I'm getting closer to being caught now finally!

LTC Stephen F. I couldn't agree more with you. I have seen more frustration and disharmony in the past few years than I have in the past few decades as well. Though, I wonder how much of that is due to the availability of information and the wide range of outlets for commentary and critique versus factual based reporting.

Unfortunately, SGT (Join to see), I (for one) don't see anyone who has the combination of principles, skills and political capital to be a real leader in the White House. Then, we've still got that dysfunctional greed-sanatorium we call Congress. After THAT soup sandwich, we've got the Circus Folk in the judiciary. Finally, if we could change ALL OF THAT, we'd still have 70 years worth of entrenched, entitled bureaucrats to hack our way through.
Alas... what's done is done... and we have made this bed, and we - and our descendants - will have to sleep in it. Unless, of course, we burn the place down...
(That's a joke... No sedition or rebellion being incited here!!!!)

It is a sorry state of affairs for the rest of our lives, and the next generation PO2 Steven Erickson.
