However, the study findings were and remain valid … therefore, whether or not to continue to have women in combat at least deserves a further discussion. We are told that there are approximately 18 million veterans living in the US. Of those, 2 million are female veterans. That means that, of the estimated 18 million vets in US, approximately 16 million are male veterans.
