Those officers who arrest sober drivers should be stripped of qualified immunity, lose department indemnification, and sued into the poor house. They are abusing their powers and are tyrants.

They should be Held to a higher standard like Our Military, and When they do right by Policies, procedures, etc,Dishonorable discharged and let their individual records show this and never be rehired anywhere

SrA Ronald Moore - My friend when I was on the force the Standard was higher than the military. If an officer abused his office and was caught he was fired right away , end of any police career. Some of todays police scare me most because they don't seem to have common sense in their judgment.

SSgt Robert Simonds I'll wager very few, if any of these officers will be fired. The ones on the Brady List are still making arrests and issuing citations without any repercussions to their career.

I suspect the officers are being given a quota system and they get trouble if they don't need it.

Also,if they know they can get away with it they will, and mist of them.kniw most citizens can not afford to defend themselves in court, pay bills and Insurances and whatever else that is pulling them down, they usually let the wrongful Arrest go as it is ,and glad to yield to the brain washing,of Just paid the fees, fines,Etc,or possibly else get subjected to possible Strike out laws which could not just land them.in jail,But prison also, losing homes,Families, children to the system, and once under this system, most Americans they deal with subjects them too,to being bad people even being blocked up for no crimes

SrA Ronald Moore - You are totally wrong. Apparently you have had some bad experiences, I don't know of any officer that thinks like that. Now or years ago. As for court cost the courts have that covered . When you are arrested and given the Maranda warning about if you have an attorney to represent you or a court will appointed an attorney.
