Last night on a Zoom presentation the Veterans Breakfast Club includes women who served in Vietnam in non nursing roles. Their trauma all these decades later is palatable. Some family members rejected them.

For Reasons Beyond My Comprehension The Women Whom Served
Go Almost Unrecognized For Their Contributions To The War Efforts,
But In Reality, Without Them, Many More Lives Would Have Been Lost Instead Of Saved.
Whether It's On The Front Lines Giving Aid To The Wounded, Or In The Office Assisting With The Combat Coordination ~ Without Them, MANY Things Would Not Have Come Out Anywhere Near As Well As They Did

I've got some stories from Korea same time frame. 1967-68. Climbed a small moutain to take some Hot Turkey and Stuffing to a Pill Box Manned by the ROK Army who knew we were supposed to be there at the base. So we were waved in. They had been eating sprouts with buillion cubes for salt and flavor for about 3 months. We ate their meal and they ate ours. It was a Great Thanksgiving. Found a better Graphic. Let me know what you think? Since I don't have a picture of the event. Wish I did.
