Lt Col Charlie Brown I don't know what it would be but those who told FEMA employees to avoid Trump supporters need to be charge with something. How about a hate crime?

18 U.S.C. § 242 This provision makes it a crime for someone acting under color of law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States. It is not necessary that the offense be motivated by racial bias or by any other animus.
The hurricane victims were legally entitled to assistance so denying that assistance was a violation of 18 USC 242. The penalty is a fine and/or up to a year in jail.

Those in charge and those that followed their supervisors illegal orders all need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and never be a part of FEMA againMSG Thomas Currie!

Maj Robert Thornton - Amen to that. They should all go to jail for the maximum amount of time allowable by law. Following orders they know is illegal is no excuse for violating the law.
