I thought she was leaving, I'm so disappointed. How can she make a statement like "he clearly knows nothing about the military" when he served in 3 overseas tours of duty? Needs to change her first name to "Dumba$$"

Well, generally speaking successful officers are more qualified for this type of position than successful NCOs. I am a doer, not a planner. So his MAJ trumps my SFC. He also has been on the pundit circuit for a decade now, so is far more immersed in both world affairs and current affairs than I am.
I am not saying the dude is the next Cap Weinberger or even the next Don Rumsfeld, but I think he is a bit more qualified than you give him credit for.
