North Korea, China, and Iran are supporting Russia in the war for Ukraine.
Ukraine, as is known, was a socialist republic under the Soviet Union, and upon the fall of the Soviet Union, Ukraine became an independent country. Ukraine included Crimea, which in 2014 was annexed by Russia. Belarus is still a pro-Russian state. Some eastern parts of Ukraine still speak Russian and owe allegiance to the Kremlin, but are part of an undivided Ukraine. Russia wants Ukraine to become a part of the Russian Federation. It is Putin's attempt to rebuild the Soviet Union, nation-by-nation.
The question is that if Russia wins in Ukraine then, what is Putin's next target?
