Everything in today's news media - to include Wacket and the wonderful Matt Taibbi - should be taken with at least a small dose of doubt.
Remember that Woodward was once the gold standard of journalism beyond reproach, and his word was gospel. ow he is just a political hack who cloaks opinion in the costume of journalism. And make no mistake, while Taibbi is doing serious investigative journalism and shedding light on serious concerns, he is no less political than Woodward was and is.
Bottom line is simple: Trust, but verify.
