Helene death toll tops 200 amid daunting water and power issues: Thursday updates

The death toll from Hurricane Helene has surpassed 200 people across six states as crews continue searching for survivors in remote areas one week after Helene struck the US. Roughly 900,000 people remain without power (see map), and tens of thousands without running water, as of this writing.
Hurricane Helene is the deadliest storm to make landfall on the US mainland since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 (see list). At least 72 victims died in Buncombe County, North Carolina, which includes Asheville and was hardest hit within Helene's roughly 600-mile-long path of destruction. Helene and other storm systems in the past week dumped more than 30 inches of rain on North Carolina, triggering the biggest flooding in the state's recorded history.

Biden doesn't care about the people that were impacted by the storm. He is still grumbling about being forced to step down so that Harris could take his place in the race against Trump. Biden did not step down willingly and is still angry and very hurt by what Pelosi and Harris did to him after his poor showing in the debate with Trump. They colluded to put him out to pasture and dried up all his funding. Biden was also very hurt that Harris tried to distance herself from him in her debate with Trump. We know this because he grumbled to his staff who leaked it to the press.
The lamestream media continues to pump sunshine making excuses for Harris whilst singing her praises and touting her alleged accomplishments... I'm still trying to figure out what she did while VP because it looks to me like she failed at every task she was given. The Democrats promised to "Build Back Better" and were celebrating Biden's phony election victory claiming that America now had an "adult" in the White House. Yeah, well, when that adult has dementia and loads his pants in the middle of meetings with foreign dignitaries, I wonder what they were celebrating. Biden surpassed Obama as the worst President, yet Obama for all practical purposes was experiencing his 3rd term in the Oval Office by proxy.
I believe that most voters will rightly see that just as puppet Joe Biden answered to the Progressive special interests that paved the way for his installation with massive coordinated election fraud < of which Biden was a willing accomplice, Harris (who the people did not choose to represent them), is equally inept and will likewise answer to the same Progressive puppet masters. A Harris presidency would be like a virtual fourth term for Obama. Neither Joe nor Kamala have any clue what's going on.
IF Harris by hook and crook manages to steal the election as Joe did, and the media succeeds in selling it as they did with Joe Biden, this country deserves everything it has coming. History will remember us as the generation of losers that let our Founding Fathers' experiment in Democratic self-rule FAIL < because we didn't appreciate the freedom we had and willingly gave it up for empty promises of security.
