National Guard troops deploy for Hurricane Helene relief

We have had a large number of our local electrical linemen, trucks, etc. deployed from our home county (30 minutes from Ft. Campbell) to the affected areas on the eastern states.

Northern Virginia's EMT and others deployed to Florida and have redeployed to North Carolina. Red Cross has deployed across much of the East Coast south of Virginia and into Tennessee.
I am working with 10 shelters in Georgia.

I have a friend that lives in Ashley and is a fireman. On a rescue they found dozens of bodies that had floated downriver. Sad!
