Almost sounds like the old Soviet Union. When they wanted rid of someone, even their birth records were destroyed.

Bethina Lee - No, I had the GI Bill, I was living on that monthly check for rent and food. I rode the streetcar to school, so no car expenses. Took me a few years, but I paid my parents back for every dime they spent and sent them a monthly allotment once I got my commission. Hard work, but nice to have no student debt when I graduated.

MAJ Hugh Blanchard I was avoiding that like the plague..granted the interest builds up as soon as you graduate or obtain employment. But there are loopholes in these loans no one exploits, my accounting professor has dissected the terms of several of these loans for learning material for class.
One had a cause that if you had retained college course(s) that your loans & interests would be placed on hold. Diving deeper, the college courses could be any bloody thing from Gym To taking music or art; and it could be just one class.
Another stated getting a position with the loan company that you had signed with, would have taken interest or part of you salary to apply to the loan...
The list goes on, no one wants to read the "Find Print" and thinks "I will have money after I graduate" but forgets the interest compounds the more you avoid paying them back.
Oh well...I didn't mind the hard work and basically work/home/work/school/LOTS of studying

CPL Douglas Chrysler goes to show you how "Expeditious" our government is...not to mention the reams of paperwork to go along with a simple request.

SPC James Neidig when anyone is in a major influential role in any branch of the military...you should never publicly criticize whomever employs you. Especially on a social media platform..granted you have your Rights as an American citizen and can practice them...only thing is your a little bit stupid if you don't expect "Fallout" or repercussions of not practicing "Discretion"

"Discretion is the better part of Valor" Sir Richard Falstaff; Henry IV

I remember long ago, I was under 5...the next door neighbor's father was caught with a woman in their house. Let's say the MP's showed up, fire, an ambulance, and also the military member was escorted off the housing area in cuffs.
My father said to me that he got demoted and lucky he was not dishonorably discharged. Now a days; that is a very rare occurrence.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen I'm sure it was too. You'd think that all these senior leaders would be able to control themselves. Apparently, it's the first thing tossed out the window when in a position like that.

I Am Not Saying Is Was Right To Criticize Biden, I Was Giving A Possible Reason For His Removal.
It Is A Violation Of The UCMJ To Publicly Criticize Or Post Contemptuous Comments Against Any Elected Officials Or Political Appointees.
Under A Different Article They Can Also Be Removed And Court Martial For Making Or Posting Remarks Against Superior Non Commissioned Officers Or Commissioned Officers.
BTW I Can Say Biden Is A Brain Dead Idiot Because I Don’t Fall Under The UCMJ Anymore.

I've noticed a big uptick in senior Air Force enlisted and Navy ship commanders recently relieved. Usually the only notice is "The (fill in the service) has lost faith in the ability of (fill in name) to lead and command and has therefore relieved them of their duties." In the Navy the Littoral Combat Ship community seems to have been really hard hit. But I think that reflects the huge problems the Navy has had with the LCS ship design and lousy performance due to its dual-engine nonsense, not because the LCS commanders were bad officers. I may be wrong, but that's what seems to be happening.
