It's very unsettling when scientists start following through with experiments like this, the moral, ethic, and principle ramifications as well as "The Fallout" statics unknown, they are basically playing with nitroglycerine with DNA combined. This is the problem bio engineers, doctors, and scientists ran into frequently while modifying DNA on produce and other eatables introduced to the day to day public. The fallout is unknown until ppl have massive reaction to whatever "DNA/RNA" was modified...in turning those particular genes (alleles) off they will not know the fallout of what they may have accidentally switched on.
