Everyone knew this, including the courts. Yet, zero officers of the court said nothing. Judges said nothing.
There are several tiers of justice in this country, thanks to the officers of the court, law enforcement officials and both state and federal legislature.
There are too many instances of feds declining prosecutions only to have states pick them up and vice versa.
Police misconduct is swept under the rug except in the most aggregious cases.
Lawyers, both prosecutor's as well as defense, and judges go unprosecuted because of who they are or who they know.
Congress can literally do almost whatever the hell they want and face nothing legally.
No one will face any punishment for the lawfare being waged, except from the voters.
