I worked on and off at a McDonalds through the 70's while I was in school. It's an insult to McDonald workers saying Harris worked there. She wouldn't last one day where I used to work.

Many folks started their working career at McDonald's but as they progress through more and more successful positions that job falls off a resume. That doesn't mean they never worked there, just that they used the skills learned there to become more successful.

There is nothing wrong with working at a McDonalds, My wife did for a short time as Manager of the Play place and My middle son did also working on the grille. My wife is a retired Public school elementary current teacher and middle son a licensed building contractor.

There is nothing wrong with working at McDonalds. The problem is saying you worked there when you didn't. I can describe my job duties and equipment of the day used, that is the culture of the job when I worked there... with many of my current friends who could tell you stories about us working there. Harris has none of that. Her and Stollen Valor Walz are two peas in a pod, she picked the right running mate.
