It's a shame that the [Fake News] media is singing Walz's praises and packaging him as cuddly, warm, happy go lucky, and real. He's a phony that forgot to mention in his autobiography that he was demoted at retirement because he didn't do what it takes to meet the requirements for Command SgtMaj, and retired as a MSgt. He also misled people to believe he was carrying assault rifles in wartime -- except that he retired in order to avoid going to war,

The way the media is pumping sunshine about the Harris-Walz ticket is yet another example of why nobody pays any attention to what the media says anymore. The public is tired of getting lied to by a bunch of Progressive sycophants and their lackeys in the lamestream media that carry water for them. The so-called journalists lavishing their praise traded in their journalistic chops to become propagandists for the Globalists that hire them to pump sunshine about the puppets they put into office.

The fake media is truly a wonder. Every word spoken by Trump is parsed to the nth degree. Biden and Harris lie their rearends off and no problem.

Capt Jeff S. He will fit right in with the democrat profile; he's a liar and claims to be something he isn't

Walz could have retired after 9/11 and he didn't, he reenlisted for 4 more years.

Vance was a mediocre Marine based on his record. He did just enough to get by four years - not too much, not too little. He was also public affairs for six months in an AC office. He himself said he was "lucky" to not experience real combat. So how is he better because he did six months in Iraq? ANYONE else you guys would call a POG. I've seen it on here you all call anyone not "combat arms" POG. That "oh they didn't see combat, they just deployed." Or "They sat on a FOB the whole time, that doesn't count." But now it's Vance so it does? Also he was a Never Trumper - but now he's on his knees for him so that's ok? You cry about Dems who change positions but it's ok for Republicans? Make it make sense.

Walz didn't "quit." You can't just wake up one day and say "I'm retiring." You have to put the paperwork in at least 9 months prior to the date. His unit did not get orders until 2 months after he retired and deployed the following year. He also did serve as the BN CSM. He misspoke on being a retired CSM - but I've seen other people do it. No one calls them out. He didn't get demoted either. Idk why people keep saying he got demoted. He did not. He didn't do USASMA so he could only get E8 retirement pay. That's it.

Also in the Army it's MSG - not MSgt. That's an AF E7. And it's CSM or SGM. Not Sgt Maj.

The discussion never really bothered Gonzales, himself a retired master chief petty officer (E9), but he recalls hearing about it. “I’m not really the type that cares about this sort of title or brags about my service,” he told me in a phone interview. But in recent days, as more disclosures about Walz’s service have come to light, it dawned on Gonzales and his team that he was the elected representative actually entitled to that particular honorific. “I was under the impression that he was an E9, so when I learned the truth, I was like, ‘Are you kidding?’”

-- Clearly he cares.
