There are three categories, official acts, semi official and personal. Where will the records occur.

It you look at the record of past President's, all the controversy was about whether those documents fell into the personal category or fell into official acts. Even at that, it was more about Congressional access to official and semi-official acts and nothing about the President requiring permission to keep classified documents. The President still owned the document that the National Archives held in trust.

Working at Battalion, Brigade or Division staff positions, a ton of papers ended up with some kind of classification. Most of it wouldn't have threatened national security and much of it you could have found in the a decent library.

In our Country I believe the DOJ needs to prove Beyond a reasonable doubt President Trump wasn’t working in an official capacity.
