It's interesting at how little is known by Americans about this. Great share and a great read.

Seems Jackson hated the Creek Indians. He was brutal in his campaigns against the Creek. Davy Crockett was a scout during one of the campaigns. Jackson’s brutality caused Crockett to quite. Jackson had Crockett brought back at rifle point. This started a life long feud.
