There is no other way to read these kinds of Stories, you have to do it with humility, awe, and a touch of gratefulness that Men (and Women too) exist capable of deeds like this. 17 KIA, and 27 Wounded IA's and but for the actions of this man, those numbers would be bigger. Jesus. Where do they find these guys?

Where do they find these guys? In Captain Foley's case, I believe the first line of the article gives the answer.
"At about this time in 1941, a hero is born."
He was born and raised to be the kind of man I know I wish I could have been.
"For just such a Time as this. "
