During my active fixed wing flying days I was making a landing, powered down, stall warning came on and ready for touchdown and some idiot pilot pulls right out on the runway I was landing on and unlike what you may have seen on old Sky King shows you cannot just pull back on the yoke and climb or you will sink like an anchor. I had to drop the nose, power up and begin an ascent just clearing the top of that other plane on the runway only to have flocks of blackbirds fly into my 172 and were bouncing off the prop. Needless to say I made a fast turn around hoping the birds didn't block up anything in the engine, landed, parked my plane and bought a yacht. End of my flying and beginning of my boating years. Indeed, the Lord was my co-pilot on that flight and He talked to me and I listened....boating became a wonderful lifestyle.

Amn Roger Omberg Thank you my friend and I had others that were a lot closer in VN but this one was not only life saving, but life altering as well. From an aviator to a sailor, a change I would have never anticipated. Life is packed with surprises for all of us and can be altered in a single day.

Can one imagine the wild ride from a fuel leaking mach 3 at 80, 000 ft altitude on an SR+71, that has actually out ran a NORTH KOREAN MISSLE, damn! And that Aircraft is now sitting in mothballs, & we have OBIDEN AS a Manchurian president, now an American can see how far down we as a nation has traveled. Thank GOD for SKUNKWORKS, & AREA 51, MR KELLY, & all the team members that purchased the TITANIUM needed from RUSSIA to pull this off, these were men of VALOR, they faced certain death every time they got into this ejection/pilot seat, & they knew it, LOVE OF COUNTRY!! OORAH, SEMPER FI
