Adjusting the clocks twice a year in observance of daylight saving time (DST) can have various health consequences, mostly in the spring, due to losing an hour of sleep.1 However, the fall shift back to standard time may increase depression and affect your mental health.
"There seems to be more depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts around the time the clock changes both in March and in the fall," David Merrill, MD, an adult and geriatric psychiatrist, told Health.

Lt Col Charlie Brown I really don't see the need for daylight saving time. Get on one clock and stick to it whether it be on or off daylight savings time. I know for me it's more of a pain in the spring than fall!

There Are 2 States Which DO NOT Go By Daylight Savings Time : Arizona & Hawaii.

100% agree, don't really care if it's standard or DST, just pick one and stay on it. Frankly the justification for DST sounds like something from a time long past.

I Know Most People Have Issues With Various Events; Like Jet Lag, Daylight Savings Time, Moving From One Time Zone To Another, Working 'Split Shifts', Adjusting From Civilian Life To Military Life And The Reverse; For Reasons I'll Never Understand, None Of Them Ever Even Bothered Me. But I Will Say This: "I Also Think Daylight Savings Time Is A Waste". If I Understand Properly, It Was Instituted Due To Farm Work When The Kids Were In School And Involved In Running The Farms. It Was Used So The Kids Could Get Some Work Done Before Heading Off To School & Have The Time To Continue After Returning From School In The Afternoons...... Before Electricity Was Commonly Being Used As A Light Source.......???
