Just out of curiosity has anyone mentioned Julian Assange and his slow death and mental destruction from prison and isolation. Common sense tells me that Putin had absolutely nothing to gain from killing Navalny. He was imprisoned and basically forgotten. Possibly some on this forum will give a good reason for Putin to kill him. If my memory serves me, Navalny was convicted of a crime and was out on parole. He left Russia going to the United States and upon his return was arrested for parole violation and jailed.
