Soldiers who volunteer for recruiting duty can pocket $5,000

We're I an NCO, there's no amount of money that would get me to become a recruiter under this administration. The people in charge are inept, stupid, and give zero phucks about the servicemen and service women in the ranks today. And I include the senior enlisted advisors in this cabal of crap.

Sounds to me like the 800 Soldiers whisked away to be recruiters didn't solve the issue (duh).

As long as they're supposedly overhauling the recruiting as a whole: they should also completely overhaul MEPS.
