When the movie first came out I couldnt wait to see it. ,My girlfriend at the time kept elbowing me as I wouldn't shut up about where they were in almost every phase of the battle scenes. It felt like I was home and I was telling her what we had done there and how many times.
I had heard Hal Moore give a graduation speech for the MP advanced course (I was in the MP basic course) I can tell you that I would have followed that 76 year old man into hell after hearing him.
