Militant groups aligned with Iran have carried out more attacks in the last day on U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria, pushing the number of strikes to more than 50 in the past month amid rising tensions in the Middle East and despite American retaliation, a military official said Monday.
The militant groups began increasing attacks on U.S. bases in the two countries in mid-October, not long after Hamas militants from Gaza launched a surprise attack on Israel that killed hundreds of civilians. Since then, American troops have been targeted dozens of times at bases in Iraq and Syria.

After Four years free of any Military conflicts under President Trump now the attacks are spring up all over the mid East. Relations with China and Russia have also lost ground. I'm not an admirer of Trump but at least He wasn't seen as weak by other nations and Biden sure is and this is the result ! Giving back withheld money to Iran also resulted right away to spending it on aggressive moves of warfare and funding others on their outright evil. Pulling out of Afghanistan all at once and leaving all that military equipment for use by Mid East insurgents, putting Taiwan, Korea and Japan back at even more risk than they already were in. The current administration can't seem to come to grips with understanding an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

Their pound of cure comes in the form of appeasement. We have 30k troops basically sitting as targets of opportunity because the left has ALWAYS imposed strict ROE's. Our enemies knew that Trump didn't need an excuse to protect our troops. ROE's were only to keep civilian casualties to a minimum, but also to destroy anything and anyone who attacked you. Republican Presidents in general are for troop protection. Democrats are good at getting us into wars, but they can't manage a war without watching over the shoulder of every commander and micromanaging every decision, and this is why we have such weak leadership at the top.
War is meant to be brutal. Shock and Awe is more than a catch phrase. Overwhelming force demoralizes the population and puts the war footing on an immediate downward spiral for the leader of whatever population is involved. The middle eastern people have forgotten what level of destruction the US can bring, and our "Leadership" is too weak to give them that reality check.

This is a period in time I wish we had a President who, in every detail, was a General George Patten. He would bomb the hell out of Iran until they were pulverized to dust and have the rest of the world shaking in their boots.
