CPT Jack Durish The city of Irvine needs that land for more apartment houses! Irvine would not allow a Veteran’s Cemetery to be built on the former El Toro Marine Air Station because of “bad vibes’” (feng shui), that might affect the residents. That doesn’t mean they would deliberately burn the building! Or does it Captain Jack?

Are you talking to me? PO1 Nagel doesn't like me loitering on his discussion threads. But, since you ask, that's a possibility, for sure. Actually, it wasn't the city of Irvine that wouldn't allow the Veteran's Cemetery. It was the wish of one politician who hired petition gatherers from out of state who lied to Irvine voters, and they were dumb enough to believe the lie. That's progressive Leftists and their herd. Makes you wonder how they tie their shoes every day
