Once again everyone wants to "talk" about the drug issue but not taking the time to look at causes. As long as there is a demand, we will never stop the problem. There is simply too much money involved.
I think there will always be a demand, however we can work towards reducing that demand. Address the causes. Drug addiction is a disease and should be treated as such, not as a crime.
Yes, go after the pushers, but help the users.
Take whatever action is necessary to reduce the causes.
And, a biggy: Stop making it a political issue. Stop blaming the "other" party.

We do need to talk about America's drug problem. With Robert L. Peters (10% for the Big Guy) doing everything he can to support Mexican drug cartels and their importation of Chinese fentanyl across our open Southern border, it is only getting worse.
