There are far too many impractical, unsafe ventures to fix problems that plain can't and won't work but do waste a LOT of money. The simple solution often is the one that actually works best instead of the fantasy world far to many seems to live in and think they and only they have the solutions and it's getting worse. I'm not against improvements and new creative ideas but what is practical, realistic vs. just plain foolish and damaging in the long run and pushed upon others by "Know it all's" who actually aren't that well informed or even listen to others have done a great job of destruction rather than creation. The end result often is the rest of us are paying for it when these things are allowed to proceed despite NEVER being safe or practical. !

One of my wannabe careers was to become an architect. I even started college in the School of Architecture but soon discovered the math required was going to be beyond my capabilities. Anyhow in Design 101 I remember the professor telling us something along the lines of an architects job is to let the imagination run wild and the clients job to reign it in with reality and dollars.
