United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain said on Friday the union would not expand the strike immediately against the Big Three automakers, but left open the possibility that it could do so at any time.

Nothing historic. Grew up in Michigan where family and friends worked at the big three. Many he did not work for the big three worked for suppliers. liv e thru many strikes. My dad was a member of a trade guild so he did not get paid much of anything during strikes as they would not cross picket lines. Unions will strike till the funds run out.
