Majority Leader Steve Scalise, who has served in House Republican leadership for nearly a decade, faces one of the biggest challenges of his career yet as he hopes to unite a rowdy conference, which just earlier this month ousted California Republican Kevin McCarthy as House speaker.
On Wednesday, a slim majority of House Republicans nominated the Louisiana congressman as their choice to be the next speaker. His nomination marks a narrow win over Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan, whose bid had been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
Scalise's candidacy is expected to head next to a full House vote though it's unclear when that vote will take place and whether Scalise can garner enough support from his own party to be elected speaker.

They will work things out. Democrats have their own hands full right now with certain people within their own party having no problem with decapitated babies. Hamas is acting like those SS squads going into Ukraine and other conquered territories by the Nazis in World War 2.
I'm glad one Democrat congressman left the Socialist faction of a Democratic Party. I never would expect that certain modern day extreme leftist Democrats are just modern day Nazis with a Palestinian flag over them. And they are stupid enough to blame israel. They have a complete shit fit over George Floyd but they say nothing about the thousands killed in israel. And now we find out that BLM is a scam!

PO1 H Gene Lawrence yes I also want to emphasize that black lives matter bought a Communist Party headquarters in Canada with money that they hit on major corporations. I stopped watching Major League Baseball once I saw BLM instead of Major League Baseball on the pitcher's mound.
BLM doesn't care about black lives in israel, they don't care if they are Ethiopian jews, they just hate them because they are Jews. I'm sure some Ethiopian Jews perished at the Rock concert that was attacked as well as when Hamas terrorist forces attacked many villages and settlements within Israel. Over 1,000 Hamas Fighters have been killed. I hope they go to hell and I hope they are sodomized in Hell by evil spirits.
