LMAO ~~ Is It Possible The Engineer Was Oblivious To The Problem?
Perhaps They Need The Norfolk High School Cheer Leaders To Get His Attention:
They Have a Well Known Cheer; And It Goes Like This:
"Were The Cheer Leaders Of Norfolk High, We Don't Smoke,
And We Don't Drink, NORFOLK, NORFOLK@!!

It's not usual to see General Electric made locomotives with turbo charger fires. Quite common actually. Since GE sold out the line to WABTEC (Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies) we'll see if they fix the problem GE couldn't.

GE's were never a favorite for mechanics to work on. The real nightmares were ALCO's, American Locomotive. They were famous for spewing smoke and sparks and lighting brush fires. I used to like to get 2 ALCO's linked together and pull out the throttle under the tower where the boss was. Rotten egg smell too.
