I didn't know they came out in 1982 but back in 1982, you had to belong to the mint sending you a brochure in the mail. Over 2 million copies were made in uncirculated condition. Those were made for the Denver mint. The San Francisco mint had the proof coins. I have other proof coins from San Francisco mint such as a Ike silver dollars 40% silver from the early seventies. I'm sure you can also find the Columbian Exposition coin from 1893. Another coin that I bought up here in Canada that I didn't know existed was the George Washington Carver coin.

These were minted in the 1950s before the Civil Rights era. I happen to come across one a month ago when I bought it.

She reacted angrily to this 1893 Chicago World's Fair exposition also called The Columbian exposition in honor of Christopher columbus. I rubbed it in her face that I bought this 1893 us 50 cent piece for $25 in Great Falls Montana a couple months back. I told her my Canadian Indian wife was with me when I bought the coin and she did not get upset because I was buying a Christopher Columbus coin. So I rubbed it in her face that my indigenous wife that always talks about genocide and residential schools and abuse and all those kinds of stuff that we're now uncovering and she still experiences racism here in Canada but she didn't get mad in Montana when I bought that Columbus coin.

It's strange how we have these radical type of people get so upset over statues and even these coins. So I said if you want to flip the bird and say Fox Trot, you to the left, by these coins because they're readily available and they're not very expensive.

SFC Dr. Jesus Garcia-Arce, Psy.D yes that's cool but I ran into an old man about 40 years ago who sold me Guatemalan pesos from 1860s, the Salvadorian pesos from 1911 and other ancient coins including a 1932 Honduran silver coin of Chief Lempira who fought the Spanish. That is the denomination of the Honduran coins if you didn't already know.

I think this coin is way overpriced.

LTC Trent Klug I'm sure you know which radical E7 Progressive female. She never has anything good to say but I let her know that I don't care, I'm just collecting coins and my Canadian Indian wife didn't object to my Christopher Columbus 1893 Columbian Exposition coin from Chicago World's Fair.
