No one wants to do real research anymore nor do they want to do investigative journalism. They want their information bought and handed to them and this is the result.

Journalists are the ones that are supposed to be verifying the facts. They have turned into political machines and advocate for causes instead of following where facts lead them. Our Country is in trouble.

Been reading the New Yorker since forever. This week’s cover is hotter than ever. Rest of the stack = significantly cooler.

Let's be honest here. The Earth was already warming before the industrial revolution. Our CO2 emmissions was like injecting NOX into your air intake of your engine. Thing is all we can do is mitigate our impact on future generations.

El Paso Texas has gad 71 days if temos exceeding 100 degrees and 44 straight days of 100 degree plus temps with an average temp of 105 degrees. Phoenix AZ was even worse as their get was greater than 110 degrees for a period longer then ever before.
Monsoon season was a bust.
My growing season has shifted 2 months forward making it extremely diffcult to grow tomatoes.

Now the Artic is warming 4 times faster then the rest of the planet. That means permafrost will melt and it is. What is bad about that us the organic matter in the permafrost can now be used as a food source for soil microorganisms which means methane release. What's even worse is the metal hydrates in the permafrost will give up their methane. The warming iceans are already causing methyl hydrates off the Russian continental shelf to release their locked up methane. Why is methane a problem? Its because as a greenhouse gas methane is 80 times worse than CO2.

If the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets melt a lot of the coasts including Florida will be underwater.

Let’s be honest here: Do you want to classify CO2 as a pollutant? Do you realize what that would do, and what CO2 is used for? I served as a hydraulic revied engineer for permits issued by PennDOT during the mid 90’s. We were in the middle of a historic drought that lasted years. People cheated on their construction because they didn’t believe the water that would be coming in the future. When the weather changed, and rain came again, many were flooded out that cost them dearly. I suppose what I’m trying to explain to you is don’t confuse climate with weather. Climate is measured over thousands of years. Weather is measured over decades of time.

We have too many nonprofessionals trying to manipulate people to obtain the change they want for their business friends. There are some professionals who sold out for the almighty dolor also.
