And, we do not know if the VP had the authority to do so or not.
I try to avoid personal comments but I must say one thing here. Your apparent hatred of our national institutions and government has, IMO, colored your responses.

I bring facts and ask people to think about the facts we know, and definitions about principles of life in our society, and our ability to live with one another based on these principles… and you bring me “we do not know if the VP had the authority” and “the prosecutor was NOT investigation Hunter”. What can I say to that? You guess at authority to make excuses for who you like. If Joe Biden had authority, President Obama would have said “Vice President Biden acted in accordance with our Administration”! President Obama made no such statement. As far as a conflict of interest: Hunter Biden was/is working for the company the prosecutor was working for. Public officials have the responsibility to “avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest”. This was in my job description when I was a public official. Do you understand it? I don’t think you do.

Lastly, like most of the Left when cannot argue in favor of the actions of people you like, you attack me personally. Your statement “Your apparent hatred of our national institutions and government…” is offensive to me. If your statement wasn’t humorous, I would vote you down for it. I watched the FBI in awe when I was a kid. As an adult I worked with them on several occasions. I have a close personal friend who works for the FBI. I assure you I have no hate for the United States of America and/or our institutions. I do have a hate for the political hacks who our elected officials put in charge of our institutions, especially when they take illegal actions to protect their friends who appointed them.

Do you see how your typically Leftist method in debate always leads to arguments? Stretch the truth and/or lie about a fact to support your argument… and if I get called on my inaccurate statements, attack the character of the person I am debating with. I wish you well Stanly.
