This Day in History: American naval hero John Paul Jones

One of my early heroes. He brought the war to the shores of England thus dismantling much of the civilian morale.

Thank You Brother Dale for This Day In History: American naval hero John Paul Jones. Man, they just don't make People like this guy anymore.

Jones was always a near mythical legend to me. His ship is shot to shit, it's sinking albeit slowly and he grapples the Serapis and then wins the battle. That is some ballsy leadership.

It's sad to read the man had more faults than California running through him.
