Secret Plan Put Biodefense Industry — Not Public Health Leaders — in Charge of Pandemic Response

If this is true, and I have zero reason to doubt it, we must get this stopped by Congress. This industry is not elected by the voter and is not controlled by our elected leaders.

I have no evidence to support the suppositions, nor to oppose them. So I am left with my gut.

And my gut says this is very much conspiracy theory. Like the best conspiracy theories, it weaves a healthy dose of truth throughout it. But it takes that truth out of context or out of proportion and weaves a narrative that is just true enough to bring people in, but ultimately way off base on its conclusions.

I don't deny that public health experts botched many things. I don't deny they picked and chose which "science" they wanted to follow and which to ignore. But this being done by a secret cabal that controlled experts and told them what to say - OR ELSE - is a bit much. Bad actors can act bad on their own, with no puppeteer. Bribes, personal interest, vanity, ego, deliberate malfeasance, and plenty of other reasons.

Until and unless I see e-mails from the NSC to Fauci telling him the response and issuing talking points - and those are matched up with Fauci's public statements, by both time and content, I will continue to believe Fauci was a self-serving asshole who was trying to cover his own ass from what he had a part in causing - and his illegal activities that led to it. Not a stooge of the deep state, or whatever spooky name you want to give to this cabal.

It makes sense that the Biodefense Industry would be in charge of tackling a Bioweapon, Brother Dale, and you can't convince me otherwise.
