As we have seen, the president Trump tax cut that are going to sunset in a couple of years have been able to help the Biden Administration and actually minimize his deficit a little bit even though he has stupid things like $360 billion dollars that has nothing to do with inflation that's for golf Delta climate change and trying to forgive student loans for those with Masters and phds to win votes. That's almost $800 billion to a trillion dollars and you wonder why we have inflation? The Democrats are actually brain dead stupid because Bill Clinton thought more like president trump, President Reagan and JFK and believed in having lower taxes to Spur growth on his second term. But today's Democrats are left of Lenin and don't believe in economics and finance 101. They used to have common sense until this last 5 or 6 years or so. Now it's stupidity 101 at the Democrat level. Senators Kennedy of Louisiana is correct to say that today's modern Democrats is left of Vladimir Lenin. They don't believe in economics, they don't believe in finance they just want to open credit line to spend their way out of a recession and crash the economy. This is not the way to run things and stupid congresswoman Ocasio Cortez has an economics degree but she purposely has been brainwashed by someone down the line because she would not be talking in such stupid terms like she is today. When she wears those stupid dresses that say Eat the Rich, is a freaking hypocrite because she learned the proper economic theory but yet she has gone to the dark side of socialism.

MSgt (Join to see) It all sounds good on paper but I seriously doubt it will be passed in its current form. What the government needs to do it to balance the damn budget so we can start becoming solvent again. Borrowing from Peter to pay Paul has been going on to freakin long with no end in sight. Even if we got a balance budget TODAY, it will be at few generations before it is paid off.

I am neither a liberal nor a Democrat, and I am against this.
Republicans talk about Democrats buying votes with their handouts... and then turn about and try to buy votes with tax gimmicks. Yes, there is a difference between taking less of my money and giving me someone else's money. But both are trying to buy my vote.
If Republicans are serious, they can keep my taxes. All I ask for in exchange is to not spend more than they get. Take ALL of my tax breaks, loopholes, deductions, and gimmicks. Keep my money. Just cut spending enough to balance the budget.
But Republicans aren't serious.
As far as the 1099Misc, the $600 limit is too low. But the $5,000 limit is too high. $2,000 seems about right, to me.
Same for VenMo.
I would PREFER a flat tax (and a low one, at that) or no income tax at all. But I realize that is a bridge too fat, right now. So I will settle for a balanced budget. But Republicans won't even do that.
America does NOT have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.
