I still do a lot of walking even at age 75 and have never had a weight problem and had to lose any (unchanged for 40 years until I cut out sugar and dropped a few pounds) and the last BP check about a month ago was 110 over 70 which the Doctor was very pleased with. My Dad walked a lot and is now 97 and Mom made it to 92 doing the same thing up to within two days of dying from breast cancer. Neither had a weight problem.

The point is to get moving as much as you are able. For some of us we must start slow for a myriad of reasons, I’ve been down due to a car wreck and I finally went dancing,

@Lt Col Charlie Brown - I walk three miles a day, heat, freezing weather, snow, ice but I hate walking in the rain. Hiking, I ok with, just not walking! Must be a mental roadblock.
