It's a bunch for sure, but Russia has the population to throw at the war. Ukraine has every able bodied man fighting now.
I'm not saying that Russia can win, because with the world opinion already against them there is no winning anything other than land, but Ukraine can definitely lose everything. Land and Men, and that's not a good option.

Defending your country is the force multiplier, but Russia has the resources to continue the onslaught with cannon fodder. They have used up a good portion of their qualified combat troops, or at least front line troops, but stacking and burning bodies isn't anything new to Russia. They have no regard for the peasants that they rule over, much as our current leadership, so they will keep throwing anyone that can walk into the fire.

Russia has seldom, if ever, cared about casualties. The only casualty count they don't want is Putin himself.
