More than half of Americans have dealt with gun violence in their personal lives

A majority of Americans have felt the long reach of the nation's gun violence epidemic in one way or another.
That's one of the takeaways from a national poll released on Tuesday by KFF, a nonprofit that focuses on health care research.
Specifically, the poll found about one in five people report having a family member who was fatally shot. The same share say they have been threatened with a gun. One in six said they have personally witnessed a shooting.

I've been threatened with a gun. I've been shot at, but I've never advocated that we need more gun control. Gun control has never been about the gun, it's about controlling the masses. A compliant population that can't defend itself is exactly what the left wants.

We are losing twice as many people to drug overdoses, all while the border is the fastest funnel in history allowing enough fentanyl to every American a dozen times over every year.
Most of the wall is built. Should be a no brainer, but stopping illegal drugs and aliens is not top of mind for Democrats. Control is.

Gee, why doesn't it surprise me that a liberal organization could stage a "survey" to get whatever results they wanted and that survey would be published by another liberal organization as it it were real.
