Milkweed is necessary for the migration of monarchs. They’ve reached critical lows. Sometimes a few seed from a pod can drift and form enough food for them to move on to the next. PO1 William "Chip" Nagel

I am one of the taggers for the migration when it comes through Wichita at the Botanical Garden. We record male/female and give it a tracking number. A very light small numbered circle that goes on their wing. I am happy to say some of the ones tagged here made it all the way to Mexico
