He doesn't want any prisoners. Gitmo is/was, in democrat minds, a re-education camp. It never did any re-education, as obviously many that were released went right back to terrorism and were eliminated in the field.
My take, Just take them out. Just as it is impossible to make a liberal see logic, it is impossible to turn a terrorist into a world citizen.
