Mike Day, Navy SEAL who survived being shot 27 times in Iraq, dies

Life can seem so cruel. I took care f a soldier who survived POW in Korea and Vietnam. Got home and developed cancer. He had a young son my sons age . That tore me up.

Damn. Survives being severely wounded by 16 rounds and grenade shrapnel only to be lost to the demons. Just damn.

Demons never give up. I didn't see where this specific article gave the cause of death, so I Googled it. Sad, sad story to have survived so much for so long then succumb to the physical and mental distress.
These kinds of stories are just depressing! They make me reevaluate my own life and the countless blessings I and my family have received.
