I remember reading that that they actually had an MP platoon on standby and they didn't even deploy that.

I am not sure if it was the two star general working for the Washington DC National Guard or some other General inside the Pentagon that only had authority to release the MPS for deployment and that he was a weenie and didn't do it because he was worried about the optics. This is just Biden administration optics. Federal inmates earn 54 days a year of "good time". So Chansley would earn 208 days total during his sentence. That's almost 7 months off his sentence, not 14 months and being at a halfway house. Something's hinky.

This guy, the others who decided to enter the Capital building, and the provocateurs, are the reason I will never attend a rally of any type. Ever. They couldn't just be and act normal. Nope.
