A Utah parent has challenged the Bible under a state law banning “pornographic or indecent” material in schools. The law has been used to remove books by mostly LGBTQ+ and Black authors from shelves.
And it’s making the Republican lawmaker who introduced the book ban bill “very sad.”

The fact that this article is "posted from lgbtqnation.com" is a red flag in itself.
Homosexuality is a sin, listed in the Bible right alongside fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and swindlers (1 Corinthians 6:8-10).
Note how 1 Timothy 1:9-11 characterizes homosexuality and that it's listed with other sins:
"realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person, but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers and immoral men and homosexuals and kidnappers and liars and perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted."
