These Baby Names are Illegal to Use in the State of Texas

Very interesting, don't think I would use any of those names anyway. Wonder if any other states have something similar.

Regarding the actual names, understand.
As for the special characters, I had to look some of those up, but the only thing I can think of is that they have a database that can't accept certain inputs or that it makes it difficult to official search the database if someone's name has a tilde, umlaut, or foreign characters.
Regarding the prohibition on ø - The Danish alphabet features the ‘ø’, character as an extra letter and this name is often banned in other countries due to technology’s inability to cope with anything other than the standard 26 letters.
