I never knew of this revollutionary war battle and that Galvenston Texas is named after Galves. I missed out on a lot of intresting history in high school but am learning a lot from you. Thanks Dale.

Thank You Brother Dale for telling us about the British surrendering Ft. Charlotte to the Spanish governor of Louisiana, Bernardo de Galvez, who was helping the Americans during the Revolutionary War.
