In Lincoln County, Tennessee, a black fungus called ‘Whiskey Fungus’ is coating homes, street signs, and more. The residue is being fueled by the vapors from the six barrel houses of one of the most popular whiskey brands in the world, Jack Daniel’s. I live .5 hours from Lynchburg. I ride down quite often for motorcycle paraphernalia and leather goods. Not once have I seen this mold on any houses or street signs.
