Not really. We don't hear about it much because (understandably so) our media is focused on events that happen in the United States. However, they appear much more frequently in LENA newspapers.
One study from the Crime Prevention Research Center* back in 2018 showed that the "mass shootings murders per capita" from Europe and the US were on par.
